Just as we must take responsibility for our own health and life, so too must we be prepared to take full responsibility for the health and wellness of our children. That is, until they are mature enough to 'take it on their own', which experience reveals is during the teenage years when most children need to express themselves as individuals. We cannot leave our children in the hands of fate and when they get sick, place their welfare in the hands of another.
